How doing offline consulting sales made an IMPACT the way I market online today…

I used to be one of those dreaded and obnoxious marketers that will flood your INBOX with promotions and offers. I know… It’s distasteful but it works, so I never really thought too much about it, after all that what most people do.

But since I started doing offline consulting sales, it was obvious this approach was just wrong.

Would you ever start your presentation by immediately introducing your product? That would be impolite and stupid… especially so as you do not understand your customer’s needs.

Neither would I try to sell him my product everyday by “spamming”

Instead, I would educate, provide VALUE before leading him to my sales pitch.

Not only has this approach make more money, it also increases the LIFETIME VALUE of a customer. Food for thought for all online marketers.
